His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works Youth Affairs, Honorary President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) and leader of the Royal Endurance Team expressed his delight towards the Royal Endurance Team's winning the top three positions in conclusion of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Endurance Championship.
His Highness said that Victorious Stables team was excellently present throughout the championship thanks to the contribution of its chevalier Fahad Al Khatri in accomplishing the title.
The juniors title was won by Al Khalidiya's chevalier Dana Al-Binghadeer.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad said the great feat accomplished adds to the huge efforts exerted by all Royal Team members. These efforts culminated in several wins. His Highness added that the completion was difficult, tough and heated.
His Highness said changing weather conditions prevalent in the King on racing day did not constitute any obstacle for the riders but was only formed a challenge for them to win the title.
Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa expressed his delight towards the huge win accomplished by Royal Endurance Team, winning the top three positions in HM the King's Endurance Cup tournament, thanks to the efforts and good preparations, and fruition of the directives of the Royal Endurance Team leader His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness's keenness on early good preparations ahead of this precious championship.
Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa added that the goal of the Royal Endurance Team since the beginning of the season has been to win HM the King's Cup this season. Therefore, early and solid preparations were made in terms of horses preparations for this dear championship to all which bears the title of the Kingdom's prime knight His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, according to specific strategic plans from the very beginning of this season in order to win the title which they have won.
And regarding the technical standards, Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa said the completion was thrilling and joyful, as riders traded positons in each round which added to the competition's thrill and strength, adding that the Royal Endurance Team trained for all probabilities and set suitable plans in order to cope with each stage and the team succeeded in applying this strategy which led the team to victory.
For his part, Royal Endurance Team's director Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan said the King Hamad Cup Championship is considered one of the strongest championships in the region which sees strong enthusiasm and attract large spectatorship and participation of many riders and stables interested in partaking in the beloved tournament.
Dr. Khalid said that the Royal Endurance Team was keen on winning the first positions and achieving positive results in the dear championship's title, hence the strong competition between all riders.
Dr. Khalid praised the Royal Endurance Team's leader His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa's keenness and directives regarding early and good preparation ahead of the championship which culminated in winning the top three positons in the championship.
