Algeria ranked first, ahead of Jordan, with six medals (4 gold, 2 silver) and Morocco with 10 medals (2 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze).
“We are very satisfied with the results obtained by our athletes who showed courage and abnegation throughout this competition which was marked by the participation of more than 300 cyclists representing 12 countries,” said the president of the Algerian Cycling Federation (FAC), Rachid Fezouine.
Fezouine has shown satisfaction with this performance which has never been achieved by an Algerian cycling team in an official competition.
