Mohammad Khaled al-Mohammad won the gold medal in javelin within China Open Athletics Championships, the second station in the series of the 2014 IPC Athletics Grand Prix. Al-Mohammad threw 38.42 m, breaking his former record of 37.74 in the first station that was held in the UAE last February. This is al-Mohammad's second win in China Open Athletics Championships as he won last Monday the gold medal in shot put. Al-Mohammad earned three gold and a silver medals in shot put and javelin in the UAE championships. He holds the title of the IPC Athletics World Championships in shot put that were held in France last July. Source: SANA
