The Abu Dhabi City Municipality is bracing for receiving entitled citizens under the gracious gesture of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; granting citizens new houses in Abu Dhabi.
Next Sunday August 10th, the Municipality will start handing over 663 citizens their new houses in Abu Dhabi.
Marking the occasion, Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Director General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, expressed deep thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, and H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
He commended the prudent and paternal policy adopted by our wise leadership towards citizens, and their keenness to enhance the stability and provide the pillars for decent living for all citizens.
He also hailed the gracious grant offered by our wise leadership in allocating 663 new homes to Emiratis in Abu Dhabi. "Such grants stem from the keenness and deep belief of the U.A.E. President and the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince in the importance of providing the basics for the Emirati family; which is privileged by the attention and care of the prudent leadership. Al Mazrouie expressed confidence that the stream of giving from our generous leadership will keep flowing for the goodness, prosperity, security and prestige of the nation, and providing the means of decent living.
"This generous gesture from a prudent leadership that works tirelessly towards the happiness of citizens all over the U.A.E. is a continuation of the tradition of giving and initiatives. It echoes the belief of the leadership that whatever citizens gain is in fact a successful investment in human resources, and a noble national mission our leadership is keen to support and advance every day for the sake of providing the means of decent living for Emiratis.
"We, in the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, remain obliged to Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed, for their commitment to leverage the nation and achieve the highest levels of family stability and decent living for citizens. We are absolutely thrilled and take pride in these grants, and stand ready to do our duty towards developing flexible and smooth mechanisms for handing over these grants to beneficiaries," added Al Mazrouie.
The Municipality renewed its readiness to receive citizens and has made all preparations necessary for ensuring the convenience of citizens and processing the handing over procedures in a smooth, simple and express manner in an atmosphere marked by joy and happiness with this noble grant.
The Municipality is keen to celebrate this nice event by decorating its Head Office with flags in commemoration of this valuable grant which epitomises the endeavours of our leadership to provide all means of high-class living and stability for Emirati families by allocating modern houses contributing to family stability. The move also reflects a welcoming celebration for citizens flocking to receive their new homes and sharing with them the happiness of being overcome with this massive grant from our leadership.
The Municipality has also dedicated a full team to cater to all hospitality services and protocols of receiving citizens at the Head Office of Abu Dhabi City Municipality at the Sheikh Zayed Road, and committed huge resources for the convenience and satisfaction of the entitled citizens.
In order ease the process of handing over houses, all counters of the Head Office will be dedicated to processing the handing over procedures starting from 8 am to 8 pm in a flexible mechanism. The procedures will be completed and keys handed over to beneficiaries along with a letter for connecting the power supply. It has been agreed with the strategic partners of the Municipality, including Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, and Al Dar Properties, to deploy staffs who will register and open electricity and water accounts for the entitled recipients and hand over keys.
The Lands and Properties Division, and the Customers Service Division have completed the process of preparing files of recipients, no ownership certificates and endorsed the handing over reports and power connection documents. They have also cooperated with the strategic partners the handing over of layouts, internal keys and engineering drawings of houses along with a list of telephone numbers of maintenance firms. A sufficient number of service counters will be provided to accommodate the expected numbers of citizens on the first day. The handing over counters have been fitted with all the requisites of the handing over procedures in order to make it easy for citizens to process the handing over process, and verify the identification documents. For this purpose the Municipality has provided the required technical resources and a number of staffs to cope with the high flow of citizens covered by the grant.
Free parking spaces will be provided in cooperation with the Department of Transport (Mawaqif) nearby Gate No 1 opposite to the Sheikh Zayed Road besides the Municipality's mosque during the handing over period, and buggies will be provided to lift beneficiaries from parking to the premises of the Municipality.
The Municipality has also provided the mobile service to process the transactions of special need persons covered by the grant, and as such they will be handed over the keys of their new homes along with the power connections documents at their domiciles, as the Municipality is keen on delivering top class services and accomplish the handing over process as soon as possible.
