Algeria's basket-ball team dominated its Tunisian counterpart 64-60 (half time: 22-37), on the third day of the qualifying tournament of AfroBasket 2014 (U18 boys), zone I, Monday in Staoueli sports hall, Algiers.
With 15 points behind their opponents, the Algerian team managed to outclass the Tunisians, snatching a precious win for qualification for AfroBasket 2014.
The victory has allowed the Algerian team to take the lead with four points, ahead of Tunisians (3 pts), while Libyans are bringing up the rear with two points.
The second-leg games begin Tuesday, including Algeria's match against Libya.
In the first-leg, played Saturday, the Algerian squad dominated 76-54.
