Kuwaiti sides Al-Qurain and Kuwait SC will battle it out for the Asian Club Handball League Championship's third and fourth spots after being defeated by Qatari home opposition in their respective semi-finals on Saturday.
Al-Qurain were defeated 38-29 by the champions Al-Jaish as Kuwait were defeated 33-30 by another home side, in the form of Lekhwiya.
Qatari sides have a record seven titles amongst them, with clubs from Kuwait trailing behind only one under.
But, coming Monday, a Qatari club will obviously be collecting an eighth title in the annually-held competition which began in 1998.
