The Iraqi national youth football team won over their Saudi counterparts in Wednesday’s match at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, in the fourth and final round of the first group in the AFC U-19. The final score was 3-2. Press spokesman for the Iraqi team, Thaer al-Musawi told 'Arabstoday': "The two teams presented high football skills, and the match was full of competition until the end. The Iraqi team eventually won 3-2 lead their group with 12 points from four victories, while the Saudi team came second.” Both teams have qualified for the next round.
