Werder Bremen have completed the protracted transfer of Brazil midfielder Wesley to Palmeiras. A deal was finalised today to allow the 24-year-old to remain in his homeland, where he had been training since the start of the year. After two seasons in the Bundesliga the former Santos player had sought a move back to Brazil, however, the terms of the deal were not agreed until today. \"I am very excited. I have been training at Palmeiras for a while now,\" Wesley said in a statement on Palmeiras\' website. \"Since I was in Europe I have had several offers, but when Palmeiras\' interest came up I was delighted and did not have to think twice.\"
