Tunisia's Club Africain were beaten by Angola's Interclube 1-2, on Sunday evening in Luanda, in an African Football Confederation (CAF) Cup group "A" day-4 game. Goals were scored by Hamza Messaadi (68') for Tunisia and by Joao Rosa Varos (78') and (89') for Angola. In the other game of the group, Nigeria's Kaduna United beat Ivory Coast's Asec 2-1. Thanks to this win, Interclube are in the lead of the group with 7 points, and C. Africain rank 2nd tied with Kaduna United (5 points) and Asec (4 points.) Tunisia's team will play Asec next September 11, before going to Nigeria to oppose Kaduna United in a last day game of this group phase.
