PSV Eindhoven kept alive their faint Eredivisie title hopes and seriously dented the aspirations of AZ Alkmaar as Tim Matavz struck deep into stoppage time to seal a thrilling 3-2 win at Philips Stadion. The match appeared to be heading for a draw after first-half goals from Jozy Altidore and Roy Beerens for AZ had been cancelled out by a brace from Jeremain Lens, but Matavz sealed all the points when he turned the ball home after Esteban Alvarado flapped at Lens\' late cross. AZ, who remain second in the standings, are now just a point ahead of fifth-placed PSV. AZ trail leaders Ajax by three points, but that is likely to extend to six when the Amsterdammers host lowly De Graafschap tomorrow. Feyenoord moved into third place and pulled level on points with AZ after a routine 3-0 win over Excelsior at De Kuip. Prolific on-loan striker John Guidetti\'s goal after eight minutes gave them a half-time lead and Jordy Clasie (49) and Jerson Cabral (58) ensured victory before the hour mark. Twente drop to fourth An injury-time goal by Nourdin Boukhari saw fourth-placed FC Twente miss the chance to close the gap on Ajax as they had to settle for a 2-2 draw with NAC Breda. Alex Schalk put the visitors ahead 11 minutes into the second half before two goals in two minutes from Luuk de Jong (61 and 63) appeared to have guided Steve McClaren\'s side to victory. However, Boukhari struck at the death as Twente dropped to fourth following Feyenoord\'s victory and they are now four points behind Ajax. Bas Dost made it 24 goals in 13 games with a hat-trick as Heerenveen came from behind to win 4-2 at NEC Nijmegen. The home side had led with two goals from Genero Zeefuik, but Dost netted three before Oussama Assaidi made sure of the points with a goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
