Co-hosts Poland continued their UEFA EURO 2012 preparations with a 2-1 victory against Hungary in Poznan. Franciszek Smuda\'s side, who were defeated 2-0 by Italy on Friday night, dominated the game from kick-off but needed more than 30 minutes to open the scoring through Pawe? Bro?ek. Tamás Priskin equalised in the second half, but Vilmos Vanczák\'s own goal gave Poland victory. Up against their oldest rivals, whom they faced in their first official international in 1921, Poland used this particular encounter to assess options. Coach Smuda made nine changes to the side which lost to the Azzurri and was swiftly rewarded, his charges starting in a vibrant fashion but lacking precision in the final third. They discovered their killer instinct eight minutes before half-time, though, after Adrian Mierzejewski\'s shot was parried by Hungary goalkeeper Ádám Bogdán and Bro?ek swallowed up the rebound from four metres out. Mierzejewski and Robert Lewandowski were denied by excellent saves from Bogdán in the second half but Hungary then drew level with 14 minutes left, Priskin applying the finishing touch after a fluent counterattack. The spoils looked set to be shared until the 85th minute, when Vanczák inadvertently turned the ball into his own net after fine build-up play involving Jakub B?aszczykowski and Lewandowski. Poland: Fabia?ski, Wojtkowiak (Gol 84), Wasilewski, G?owacki (Piszczek 59), Komorowski, Dudka (Jod?owiec 65), Matuszczyk (Murawski 46), B?aszczykowski, A Mierzejewski (Obraniak 73), Rybus, Pawe? Bro?ek (R Lewandowski 66). Hungary: Bogdán, Varga, Vanczák, Juhász, Laczkó, Tözsér (Elek 46), Koman, Sándor (Hajnal 46), Dzsudzsák, Gera, Priskin (Feczesin 81).
