Pablo Osvaldo\'s second-half goal lifted Roma to a 1-0 victory at Parma tonight to hand Luis Enrique his first win as a coach in Serie A. The Argentinian striker scored in the 50th minute to make a winner of the Spanish coach at the fourth attempt, after two draws and a defeat. But the visitors failed to put the game beyond Parma\'s reach and were made to sweat until the end. Luis Enrique opted to drop Marco Borriello to the bench and play with Francesco Totti and Osvaldo in attack. Roma had the first chance in the sixth minute when Osvaldo played a neat one-two with Totti before firing a right-footed strike that went just wide of the far post. Parma could have gone in front soon after. Alessandro Lucarelli got his head to Sebastian Giovinco\'s cross and his effort went over the bar. Before the half-hour mark, Giovinco\'s left-footed strike from the edge of the area was kept out by Roma goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont. Osvaldo opens the scoring Roma almost took the lead before half-time but Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante made a good save from Totti\'s bullet strike. Roma did go in front early in the second half. Aleandro Rosi sent the ball in from the right to the near post and Osvaldo\'s header beat Mirante. Osvaldo almost doubled his team\'s lead on the hour mark but his diagonal strike from 20 yards went inches wide of the far post. At the other end, Jonathan Biabiany\'s header from Francesco Modesto\'s cross was saved by Lobont. Parma went in search of the equaliser and were almost rewarded in the 86th minute. Modesto delivered another cross into the area and Cristian Zaccardo\'s powerful header was kept out by Lobont. Deep in stoppage time, Roma failed to clear a ball inside the area and it fell to substitute Ze Eduardo, but his attempt was off target.
