FC Twente rubber-stamped their place in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 thanks to a 3-2 win against Odense BK. Despite falling behind to Djiby Fall\'s opportunistic finish after 11 minutes, Twente did not take long to assert their authority. Daniel Høegh\'s own goal and Denny Landzaat\'s stunning effort arrived in quick succession to put them in front and, although OB then hit back again through Fall, Leroy Fer came off the bench to have the final word with eight minutes left. Beaten 4-1 in Denmark on matchday three and showing little sign of inspiration themselves, OB looked a team in need of assistance. They received it from the unlikeliest of sources, Douglas\'s laxness in possession allowing Fall to nip in, round Nikolay Mihaylov and put the visitors in front. Luuk de Jong hit the crossbar with an outlandish header from just inside the penalty area as Twente sought a response, but they soon received some inadvertent help of their own. Ola John\'s cross was devilishly flicked on by Landzaat before ricocheting off Høegh and past Stefan Wessels. In the blink of an eye, the hosts were in front, Landzaat this time doing it all on his own, teeing himself up with his first touch and finishing ferociously with his second. Seemingly in cruise control in the match and the section, Twente suffered a shock to the system just after the hour. Chris Sørensen\'s free-kick may have been long, straight and dropping 15 metres from goal, but Fall displayed sufficient strength to get there first and send a splendid header looping over Mihaylov. Co Adriaanse\'s side suddenly looked destined to have to wait to book their last-32 berth. Instead, Fer – who broke his Twente duck at the weekend – ensured their progress and OB\'s elimination when he drifted in unmarked and headed John\'s cross emphatically past Wessels.
