New York Red Bulls claimed their third straight 1-0 Major League Soccer victory on Wednesday night, beating Houston Dynamo at Red Bull Arena to climb to second in the Eastern Conference standings. Kenny Cooper netted the game's only goal in the seventh minute as New York made light of the injury-enforced absence of former France striker Thierry Henry and left Houston winless in their last five matches. Elsewhere, Seattle Sounders were 2-0 winners at FC Dallas thanks to a brace from substitute Fredy Montero. The Colombian forward notched twice in four minutes midway through the second half to lift Seattle to a fifth consecutive triumph. Finally, the Chicago Fire and Real Salt Lake played out a goalless draw at Toyota Park.
