AC Milan maintained their challenge for the Scudetto with a convincing 4-1 win over Siena, keeping them three points behind Serie A leaders Juventus with three games to go. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was on target twice to extend his lead at the top of the Serie A scoring charts, while Antonio Cassano and Antonio Nocerino were also on target. Erjon Bogdani gave Siena a moment of hope in the 83rd minute when he made it 2-1 before two late goals sealed the win for Massimiliano Allegri's side. Siena's place in Serie A next season is not yet secure and they made a bright start, pushing Milan back into their own half, however, failed to create any chances. And, Cassano put the visitors in front in the 26th minute. Ibrahimovic's cross was not held by Zeljko Brkic and Cassano had an easy job to latch on to the loose ball and score. Three minutes later it was two, Cassano squaring the ball unselfishly to Ibrahimovic who shifted the ball onto his left foot before shooting into the top-left corner from ten yards. Bogdani pulled a goal back for the Tuscan side, setting up a grandstand finish. Mattia Destro cut into the area from the left and fired in a shot that was parried by Christian Abbiati to the feet of Bogdani, who scored into an open goal. Milan did not succumb to the late pressure, though, and took their chances to seal the win. Nocerino added the third when he advanced with the ball at his feet, turning left and right on his way into the penalty area, before shooting into the top-right corner. And it was four deep into stoppage time, Cassano dribbling his way into the area before passing to Ibrahimovic, who side-footed the ball past Brkic with the last touch of the game.
