Roberto Mancini is preparing to wash his hands of the Italian following latest embarrassment involving the prostitute who was also linked with Manchester United\'s Wayne Rooney.Manchester City have finally lost patience with their controversial striker Mario Balotelli and are ready to sell him this summer with Inter and AC Milan willing to bring him back to Italy.City’s desire to keep hold of the 21-year-old has been further weakened by Balotelli’s revelation on Wednesday afternoon that he has had a fling with the same escort who was previously involved with Wayne Rooney.Although the club regard what the forward’s agent, Mino Raiola, described as a \"brief involvement\" with call-girl Jenny Thompson to be a private matter, it heaps further embarrassment on City at a time when they are already reeling from damaging headlines instigated by the forward.Such is the club’s exasperation with Balotelli, one source told Goal.com on Wednesday that the player is \"drinking in the last chance saloon\" at the Etihad Stadium.Balotelli, who joined City from the Rossoneri\'s rivals Inter for £23.5 million in the summer of 2010, is a boyhood fan of Milan and has said that his ambition is to play up front with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.City manager Roberto Mancini has made no attempt to hide his exasperation at the controversial striker’s increasingly erratic behaviour. He criticised the Italy international following the club’s 3-3 draw with Sunderland last Saturday even though the attacker scored twice, admitting that he thought about subbing the player \"after five minutes\" because of his attitude.Balotelli clashed with Yaya Toure for the second time in a month after the game and has previously been involved in training ground fights with Jerome Boateng and Micah Richards.\"Mario played like I said about him before the game,\" Mancini stated. \"He can do nothing, like he did today for 70 minutes, but then score two goals. \"I don’t like it when he plays like this. Mario has everything to do his job well but he doesn’t understand very well his situation. In a game like this, the striker should be the difference. Not in the last two or three minutes, but before.\"Mario and [Edin] Dzeko should have scored two or three goals in a game like this.\"When asked if he had considered substituting Balotelli, Mancini continued: \"We had only Carlos [Tevez] on the bench. I thought about this after five minutes.\"Twenty-four hours earlier, Mancini had admitted that it was impossible to trust the Italian. \"No, I don’t trust Mario,\" he conceded. \"No-one trusts Mario.\"Goal.com revealed in January that City still owe Inter around a quarter - £5.8m - of the £23.5m fee for Balotelli\'s transfer. Although it is the club\'s normal practice to pay the entirety of transfers up front – a condition of Samir Nasri’s £23m move from Arsenal was that City paid the money in one instalment – they did not do so with the Balotelli deal.
