Borussia Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl has extended his contract with the Bundesliga champions by a year, the German league leaders confirmed today. The 32-year-old former international midfielder, who has played 203 Bundesliga games with Dortmund, will remain with the club until 30 June, 2013. Kehl arrived in Dortmund in 2002 from league rivals Freiburg. The club have already this year extended the contracts of president Hans-Joachim Watzke, sporting director Michael Zorc and coach Juergen Klopp until 2016. He has also added a prospective new face in Borussia Monchengladbach star Marco Reus is also set to join rivals Dortmund in the summer after signing a contract until 2017.
