Portuguese international Yannick Djalo has signed for Benfica after his failed transfer last summer from Sporting Lisbon to French club Nice, his new club announced on Tuesday. \"Benfica have reached an agreement with striker Yannick Djalo who has signed a contract which is valid for four and a half seasons, or until the end of the 2015/2016 season,\" Benfica said in a statement. Benfica have a five-point lead over FC Porto at the top of the Portuguese league and will play Zenit St-Petersburg in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
