Club Brugge have named Christoph Daum as their new coach. The 58-year-old German replaces Dutchman Adrie Koster and has agreed a contract that ties him to the Belgian club until 2013, with the option of an extra season after that. The vastly-experienced Daum has won league titles with Stuttgart, Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Austria Vienna while he also counts Bayer Leverkusen, Cologne, Austria Vienna and Eintracht Frankfurt among his former clubs. Club Brugge, who sacked Koster at the end of last month, are fifth in the Belgian league on 22 points, seven adrift of leaders Anderlecht, and are top of Europa League Group H, although level on seven points with Birmingham and Braga.
