Campeonato leaders Corinthians suffered an embarrassing 2-1 defeat away to bottom side America MG on Sunday. Second-placed Vasco da Gama failed to make the most of Corinthians\' defeat as they lost 2-0 at Santos, whose goals came from Neymar and Humberlito Borges. Fluminense, in third, moved to two points behind the top two as they won 2-1 at Internacional. Rafael Moura opened the scoring for Fluminense before Oscar replied for Internacional. Rafael Sobis put Fluminense 2-1 ahead just before half-time and to add to Nacional\'s woes they had Juan sent off with seven minutes remaining. Coritiba were 2-0 winners over Palmeiras as Davi Rodriguez and Leonardo hit the target, Joao Vitor being sent off for Palmeiras with 11 minutes to go. Thiago Neves hit a hat-trick and Deivid netted twice as Flamengo defeated Cruzeiro 5-1, Ramon Anselmo put the visitors ahead before being sent off 17 minutes from time. Frederico Nieto scored both goals as Atletico Paranaense beat Atletico Goianiense 2-1 after the visitors had led through Nascimento Anselmo. Thiago Humberto and Felipe Azevedo scored for Ceara, who won 2-1 away to Avai - for whom William replied.
