Anderlecht turned up the heat on the chasing pack in the belgium Jupiler League championship play-off with a thumping 4-0 win at Genk tonight. Kanu scored twice as the Brussels side moved seven points clear of Club Brugge, who face Gent tomorrow. Defensive uncertainty allowed the Brazilian to open the scoring in the eighth minute and Guillaume Gillet fired home the second in the 31st minute. Milan Jovanovic superbly set up Kanu for his second in the 52nd minute before Tom De Sutter rounded off the scoring late on.
