The France international has not featured for Los Blancos since picking up an adductor muscle injury in his side's 1-1 Champions League draw with CSKA Moscow last month. Cristiano Ronaldo has also been included in the squad, after recovering from the flu, just like Pepe, who missed Madrid's 5-0 victory against Espanyol through suspension. Angel Di Maria and Fabio Coentrao are still recovering from their respective injuries and will not take part in the match, while Ricardo Carvalho will sit the game out as he serves a one-match suspension. Madrid are 10 points clear at the top of the Liga standings and have the chance to extend their winning run to 11 matches at the Benito Villamarin.
