Arsenal issued a chilling warning to title contenders Manchester City they will come out firing on all cylinders on Sunday. "I believe that we will see a different Arsenal on Sunday," said a defiant Arsene Wenger after seeing his Gunners misfire at Loftus Road at the weekend. Arsenal face a three-way fight with Spurs and Chelsea for third place and lost an opportunity cement their position in third spot after surrendering their seven-game winning streak at Queens Park Rangers. Skipper Robin van Persie also claims having to face City and with Chelsea also to come to the Emirates, it will bring out the best in Arsenal. “We have seven more games to play and I believe we can come third. It won’t be easy, everyone is fighting for every point and our opportunity is next week against Man City. We have to go for it and believe and we will," said Van Persie. Wenger believes the high-profile clash against City gives them a good opportunity to put things right again. "We have played well against the top teams and that is our target again. We know how to respond, as we have been exposed to this situation before this season," said the Frenchman. Van Persie is determined to find his goalscoring touch after missing a glorious chance witht the scores level at QPR. “It was a tough game. I always thought after Theo (Walcott) scored his goal and we were level we could win the game. It was just a tough game,” said the Premier League's top scorer. “It is a shame we have to wait eight days for the game against Manchester City but it is how it is. It is a big blow but we have to look forward and the next one is a big one," added the Dutch striker. “Everyone is disappointed but towards the end of the week I am sure the spirit will be how it was. We’ll have a couple of days to be disappointed but after that our focus is on Manchester City. “They are second but drew against Sunderland so they will need the points. We have seven big games to play but if you look at the big name teams then we have City and Chelsea. As a fan of football I always like to play those games and one of them is next week.” Wenger believes they will have to repeat their impressive recent run and win their last seven remaining games after their shock slip-up. “We have to win every single game now. That it is why it is so disappointing to lose,” he said.
