Al Ain came from behind to trounce Ajman 4-1 and consolidate their place at the top of the Etisalat Pro League. They sit four points clear of reigning champions Al Jazira, who kept hot on their heels after winning 4-2 at Dubai yesterday. Ebrahima Toure put Ajman ahead from what looked an offside position in the 32nd minute, only six minutes after hitting the bar when clean through. Ajman were the best side in the first half and could have added to their score but strikers Toure, Hassan Matouk and Waleed Ahmad squandered several chances. In the second half, Al Ain head coach Cosmin brought on Mohammad Nasser to play up front and the substitute was soon in the action, equalising in the 56th minute with a diving header. Al Ain had to wait until the 81st minute to take the lead, Ignacio Scocco brought down by Ajman goalkeeper Ali Rabie before getting up to slot home from the penalty spot. Super sub Nasser added his second in the 84th minute, before laying on Scocco to complete the scoring in the 89th. Meanwhile, Al Jazira returned victorious from their trip to Dubai. Defender Abdullah Mousa put them into the lead after 12 minutes with a header following a corner form Delgado. Ricardo Oliveira then scored from a brilliant first-time shot in the 34th minute to make it 2-0. Oliveira started the second half from where he left off the first, adding the third in the 49th minute. Mohammad Ebrahim pulled one back for Dubai in the 60th minute with a curling shot from outside the box. But Al Jazira\'s win was secured when defender Juma Abdullah capitalised on a blunder from home goalkeeper Jamal Abdullah to score in the 66th minute. Dubai substitute Ali Hassan scored a consolation near the end. They currently sit 11th, in the relegation zone, with six points from 11 matches.
