Ismail Haniyeh Cairo – Akram Ali A delegation from the Gaza government headed by Ismail Haniyeh visits Cairo this week to discuss several economic projects including the establishment of an industrial zone on the borders with Egypt. The head of the Palestinian Studies Centre in Cairo told Arabstoday that the delegation will also submit the possibility of opening the Rafa border crossing for 24 hours a day and to activate trade agreements with Egypt. An independent investment firm will be established to oversee the management of the industrial zone.
