The second edition of “Smart City Casablanca” exhibition started on Wednesday in Casablanca under the slogan “The city is everyone’s responsibility”.
General Director of Casablanca Company for Activism and demonstrations, Mohammed El Gawahry said that, organized exhibition under the supervision of King Mohammed II helps citizen to participate in many events to exchange expertise in order to build the city future.
During an interview with “Arab Today”, he said that, Casablanca has all qualifications to become one of the largest economic capitals in the world, adding that this exhibition helped technicians and specialists to show their inventions, exchange experiences, and gave college partners the opportunity to present their vision about the city future.
El Gawahry said that, Casablanca council accomplished number of projects that helped strengthen the city, and there are some other projects facing some problems especially in transportation and health. The aim of these projects is to respond to the citizens’ aspirations by facilitating services using modern techniques.
“Smart City Casablanca” exhibition is held by Casablanca Company for Activism and demonstrations and in partnership with “Verati Barcelona”. It will receive 85 participants through 2 main seminars, 4 public seminars, and 8 other ones for two days. There will also be special places to discuss issues related to climate change, civilization and technological innovation, time travelling and appealing cities.
