Emirati poet, Sheikh Abdullah Al Mutairi Abu Dhabi - Arab Today The Poetry Academy of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, ADACH, has recently issued a new poetry collection entitled: Lil Haneen baqiyya (The Remains of Longing) by Emirati poet, Sheikh Abdullah Al Mutairi. The book includes 26 poems through which the poet evokes the warm memories of her homeland and the melancholy of love. The poetry collection includes a series of sentimental and love poems. Al Mutairi, who uses both classical and modern forms, has become well known in the past few years through her cultural presence in the U.A.E.. Al Mutairi was born in Dubai, and holds a degree in Arabic language as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Arabic Language and Grammar from the Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies. Source: WAM
