The UAE has condemned the terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey, leaving scores dead and injured.
In a statement on Sunday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, affirmed the UAE's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The ministry also stressed the need to rallying the international community's efforts aimed at eradicating the scourge of terrorism from its root, as terrorism represents a threat to global peace and stability.
The ministry stressed UAE's solidarity with the government of Turkey, and its full support for all measures it takes to maintain its security, stability and safety of its citizens.
The ministry expressed the UAE's sincere condolences and solace to the victims' families and the Turkish government and people, wishing the injured speedy recovery. "Killing or terrorising innocent people and civilians contradict with all religious principles, moral and human values," the statement concluded.
