Sudan has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing which targeted a police transport bus in Jidhafs that claimed the life of a policeman and injured eight others on Friday.
“The embassy condemns this cowardly act of terrorism aimed to undermine the united, tolerant and exemplary society of Bahrain, stressing its confidence in the government’s capability to confront such acts of terrorism, ensure the maintaining of peace, security and prosperity for the brotherly people of Bahrain” the embassy said.
The embassy expressed “its sincere condolences to Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the ministry officials,and the relatives and family of the fallen policeman, wishing those injured a fast healing. The embassy also expressed its absolute rejection of all types of terrorist activities in Bahrain, expressing its support and backing to all the efforts as well as legal and judicial measures the Kingdom has taken to maintain national unity, protect its capabilities, accomplishments and stability.”
On behalf of the Sudanese government, the embassy issued a statement in which it reiterated its support to all the genuine efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalfia, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in promoting the basics of national dialogue, consolidating the constructive democratic edifice and cementing the pillars of stability and cohesion among the brotherly Bahraini people’s all components.”
The embassy expressed its confidence in the Kingdom’s Government ability to take the sound and proper measures to thwart the subversive conspiracy and ensure the safety, security and stability of Bahrain against all types of sedition, plots aimed to undermine the democratic reforms policy of His Majesty the King and to ensure peace, stability and the welfare of the Bahraini people.
