Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah strongly condemned the terrorist blast which hit Manchester City, leaving scores of people dead and wounded, including children.
He sent two cables of condolences to Lord Fowler, Leader of the House of Lords, and House of Commons Speaker John Bercow, backing all measures undertaken by the British authorities to maintain people’s security and safety.
He denounced the terrorist attack which, he said, contravenes international conventions and religions and represents an affront to human values and peoples’ inalienable rights to live in peace, security and stability.
The Speaker extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ bereaved families, wishing the injured quick recovery. He also sent a cable of condolences to British Ambassador in Bahrain Simon Martin.
