President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday delegated presidential secretary Mohamed Negm to the Cuban Embassy to offer condolences for the death of former Cuban president Fidel Castro.
Castro died last week at the age of 90.
He had temporarily handed over power to his brother Raúl Castro in 2006 for medical reasons. Two years later Raúl Castro was officially named president of Cuba.
