Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Wednesday extended his condolences to the family of serviceman Khalid Al Baloushi, who died last month while serving the Armed Forces as part of Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.
During a visit to the 36-year-old’s home in Al Warqa in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his sympathies and prayed the family be granted patience.
He said security and prosperity in the country was a gift from God made possible by the loyalty and dedication of its citizens, reported state news agency Wam.
He said President Sheikh Khalifa and the Emirati people were proud of the nation’s martyrs who offered the "greatest sacrifice" and which will be remembered and serve as a guiding light for national work.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun, Director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office, and Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court accompanied the Crown Prince on his visit.
