The Palestinian Foreign Ministry asserted on Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu brushed aside all regional and international statements and calls warning of the deterioration of situation in the light of the recent Israeli break-ins at Al Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, the ministry said some extremist Jewish organizations, backed by the Israeli government, continue encouraging Israeli settlers to storm the mosque despite all regional and international denunciations.
Also, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry deplored the Israeli government's decision to deploy a number of Israeli snipers in Al Quds city to target Palestinian youths, who prevent Israeli soldiers and settlers from storming Al Aqsa Mosque.
Furthermore, it called on the international community, all parties involved in Geneva Convention and the UN member states to take swift action to stop the Israeli practices and violations of the mosque as well as providing international protection for the Palestinian people against the Israeli crimes, the statement said.
