The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned Israel's non-stop offensive against the Palestinian people.
Israel is carrying out field executions of Palestinians and escalating its atrocities in violation of all humanitarian, social and religious norms, the Ministry said in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by MENA correspondent Tuesday.
The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is acting to marginalize the Palestinian cause and cross it off of the regional and international agendas, it
charged.
The Ministry pointed to Israel's attempts to turn the world's attention away from its stances that deny the rights and existence of the Palestinian people.
Israel is exploiting the state of chaos in the region and the ongoing fight against terrorism to justify its failure to live up to its responsibilities toward the Palestinian people, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said.
It made it clear that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is leading political and diplomatic efforts to stop Israel's practices.
The Ministry cited successful efforts to maintain the Palestinian cause on the international agenda. Palestine has recently been granted a non-member observer status at the UN and has been recognized by a number of countries and parliaments, the Foreign Ministry said.
