The Palestinian Presidency praised today the upcoming international peace conference in Paris as an important opportunity to condemn illegal settlement and hold on to the two-state solution, especially in light of the recent UN Security Council resolution.
Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said today that the international community must demonstrate to the Israeli government that it can no longer ignore UN resolutions, as that causes more instability in the region and the world. He added that the Palestinian administration was ready for a just peace that leads to more security and stability.
The Paris conference is set to convene on Sunday in the presence of 70 countries, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported today.
