The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly deplored the gun attack on Bacha Khan University of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan, killing and injuring scores of people.
In a statement, Secretary General of the OIC Iyad Ameen Madani offered his condolences to the victims' families and the Pakistani government, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.
He expressed his full solidarity with Pakistan in its fight against terror, the statement read.
The OIC categorically rejects all forms of terror and extremism that pose great threat to all members of the OIC and the international peace and security, Madani asserted.
He called for promoting solidarity among world countries to uproot terror.
