Kuwait Amir commends Speaker on fiery pro-Palestinian
He addressed the Israeli delegation as 'occupiers and murderers of children'

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, on Thursday praised National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim for his pro-Palestinian stance at the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
In a cable, the Amir emphasised Al-Ghanim's firm remarks against the Israeli Knesset delegation at the concluding session of the Assembly, demanding them to leave the meeting room, in light of the issue of the Palestinian MP prisoners in Israel's prisons.
In a fiery speech, the speaker accused the two Knesset members attending of being "occupiers and murderers of children".
"You should grab your bags and leave this hall as you have witnessed the reaction of every honourable parliament around the world," he said, adding that the Israeli delegation "represents the worst form of terrorism - state terrorism."
