His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday, expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over the death of 16 Palestinian pilgrims, who were killed when their bus overturned near the Mudawara border crossing while heading to Saudi Arabia.
During a telephone call with President Abbas, the King stressed Jordan's solidarity with the Palestinians to overcome this ordeal and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
