Jordan has strongly condemned a heinous terrorist attack that targeted a police checkpoint in Giza, south of Cairo, killing five Egyptian policemen.
In a statement, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesman Mohammed Al Momani said the Jordanian government denounces this cowardly act. He also expressed solidarity with and support to Egypt in its efforts to fight terrorism.
Such acts, Momani said, require better international cooperation to eradicate the blind terrorism that claims the lives of innocent people.
The minister expressed the Jordanian government’s condolences to the families of the victims and Egyptian people.
