Jordan on Friday decried a terrorist attack in Egypt, which left at least 30 Coptic Christians dead, when gunmen opened fire at a crowded bus in the city of Minya.
In a statement, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammed Momani termed the crime “horrendous and brutal”, saying the attack once again reveals “low means” pursued by terrorists to terrorize innocent people and try to hide their cowardly acts behind religious motives.
Momani, who is also the government spokesman, voiced Jordan’s support and solidarity with Egypt and its efforts to fight terrorism.
