Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili condoled Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the beheading of 21 Egyptians by Daesh group in Libya.
In a cable to Sisi, the Georgian president voiced deep sadness over the brutal killings of the Egyptians by Daesh terrorist group.
This brutal crime was not committed only against Egypt but against all world, he added.
Twenty-one Egyptian Christians were kidnapped at the beginning of the year in the city of Sirte on the north coast of Libya. A jihadi website circulated photos in mid-January of kidnapped Egyptians.
A footage, released online Sunday, showed handcuffed hostages wearing orange jumpsuits being beheaded by their black-suited captors on a seashore in the Libyan capital of Tripoli.
