The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani condemned the attacks against the Saudi embassy and consulate in Tehran and Mashhad city, blaming the Iranian authorities for such terrorist attacks.
In a statement released on Sunday, GCC chief said such attacks are representing a gross violation of Iran's commitment towards protecting diplomatic missions in accordance with Vienna Agreement for the year 1961 and the international laws.
He also denounced the aggressive Iranian statements against Saudi Arabia's implementation of judicial rulings against terrorists, considering their remarks as an intervention in Saudi internal affairs.
GCC statement also asserted that all member states are standing by Arabia in condemning the attacks against the Saudi diplomatic missions.
GCC also asserted its backing for the Saudi decisions aiming at combating terrorism in all its forms, hunting down terrorists and bringing them to justice.
