Former dean of Mass Communication Faculty at Cairo University Farouk Abu Zeid died at the age of 75 after long sickness.
Abu Zeid's funeral will take place Saturday afternoon from the mosque of the Science and Technology University at the 6th of October where he was the dean of the faculty of mass communication. He was also deputy president of the Science and Technology University.
He was one of the prestigious professors of the mass communication faculty and thousands of his students are working in the journalism and media domains.
Abu Zeid wrote several books in the journalism writing and its skills and was the chairman of the journalism practices at the Supreme Council of the Press.
