Churches in Jordan slammed Wednesday the terrorist attack that targeted the Baqaa office of the General Intelligence Department leaving five persons killed during assuming the duties of their posts.
In a statement issued by the Catholic Center for Studies and Media here, the churches stressed that this cowardly offensive will strengthen the support of Jordanian people behind the leadership of the Jordanian monarch, the armed forces and security apparatuses, noting that the attack will also make the Jordanians determined to overcome terrorism.
During this tough time, the Jordanians will unite against anybody who will try to harm the stability or security of the country, the statement read.
The Churches offered also heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the security bodies.
