Bahrain has strongly condemned the terror bombing of a police checkpoint in Quetta, west of Pakistan, killing and injuring scores of people, including policemen.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its profound condolences to the Pakistani government, families and relatives of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to those wounded in the act of terror aiming to undermine world security and peace,” the ministry said in a statement.
Bahrain stands with Pakistan in its war against terrorism and supports its efforts to underpin security and peace, the statement added.
“The ministry reiterates the unyielding strong position of Bahrain in rejection of all sorts of violence, extremism and terrorism and asserts the need for joint efforts to eliminate this dangerous epidemic and dry out its source of funds.”
