Al Azhar mourned Saturday three UAE soldiers who lost their lives in Operation "Restoring Hope" in Yemen.
In a statement late on Saturday, Al Azhar offered condolences to the UAE leaders and people.
Al Azhar appreciates the role of the United Arab Emirates in supporting the Arab and Islamic nations as well as its role in resorting stability in Yemen, the statement added.
The UAE General Headquarters of the Armed Forces on Saturday said that three more Emirati soldiers were killed in Yemen.
Six Emiratis have now died in the Saudi-led operation aimed at driving out Houthi rebels and restoring to power the internationally recognized government of President Abdrabu Mansur Hadi.
