Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the Cairo church blast victims.
According to a statement by the Armenian Embassy in Cairo, Sargsyan expressed his shock over the terrorist attack that targeted Sunday El Boutrosiya Coptic Orthodox Church in Cairo, leaving scores of innocent people dead and injured.
Armenia strongly condemns this heinous terrorist attack and offers its support to Egypt in order to face and fight terrorism, Armenia's leader added.
Twenty-five people were killed while 49 others injured in an explosion that occurred inside El Boutrosiya Church during Sunday mass.
El Boutrosiya Church is only meters away from the St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in the Abbasiya district in Cairo.
