The Arab League (AL) condemned on Sunday the recent attack on the Saudi embassy and consulate in Iran.
During their urgent meeting at the AL headquarters in Cairo, Arab foreign ministers called on Iran to respect international treaties and conventions on that score.
They also slammed Iran's interference in domestic affairs of Saudi Arabia.
The AL voiced its solidarity with Saudi Arabia to face Iranian provocations that could undermine Mideast security and stability.
It also condemned Iran's interference in Bahrain, the UAE, Yemen and Syria.
The meeting comes upon a request from Saudi Arabia to deplore the Iranian breaches and assaults on its diplomatic missions' premises in Iran.
