Al Azhar has mourned the death of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the son of Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who died earlier Saturday of a heart attack.
Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb condoled with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
The young sheikh died at the age of 34.
UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan declared three days of mourning across the oil-rich country with flags at state departments and institution to fly at half mast.
