President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz paid tribute to the resoluteness of the Sahrawi political prisoners in Moroccan jails, and their endurance in the most horrible conditions, in a greeting message to the Sahrawi detainees on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, reported by the Sahrawi news agency SPS.
"The terrible detention conditions and the hard health state have neither thwarted you from daily courageous confrontation with executioners of the Moroccan occupation, nor from engaging in successive hunger strikes to condemn the unjust and unacceptable situation in the occupied Sahrawi territories," said President Abdelaziz.
The Sahrawi president underlined that "all Sahrawi political prisoners are present in the hearts and minds of the Sahrawis," adding "they are a source of pride, inspiration and resistance with their daily struggle and great endurance."
"The stupidity of colonizers, sooner or later, is doomed to inevitable failure, and the state of Morocco is aware that the repression, intimidation and siege will only enhance the determination of Sahrawi to achieve their legitimate rights, said the Sahrawi president in his message.
